On the fourth meeting of the Industry and Energy Committee of Asharqia Chamber, the Board Member and Chairman of the Committee, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, chaired the meeting, as the meeting discussed the most prominent achievements of the sector.
The meeting of the Committee was held in Asharqia Chamber's headquarter on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in the presence of the Director General of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Ibrahim bin Saad Almojel, who spoke about the Fund's products for the sector.
During the meeting, Al-Sheikh said that Dr. Al-Mojel discussed several topics of interest to the business sector specialized in the fields of industry and energy, most notably energy efficiency in addition to the automation and digitization of factories and supporting small and medium factories.
Al-Sheikh pointed out that the members discussed several topics, most important of which is the hosting of the Eastern Region of the events of the World Oil and Gas Exhibition, which will be the most important stations for next year.
The Committee also reviewed the issue of the multiplicity of programs supporting the sector from various large companies and their diversity and the extent of their implementation of the local content on the ground.
